Your contribution to the ‘Drive for Dreams’ campaign will open doors of opportunity and empowerment for local underserved youth, transforming their lives through the power of golf. Help us reach our goal of $25,000 and make dreams come true. These funds will directly support our outreach programs, offsetting summer camp/track-out camp costs and providing summer scholarships for youth who otherwise could not participate in our programming.
About First Tee — Triangle’s Outreach Programming
First Tee — Triangle partners with youth organizations throughout the Triangle to introduce golf through engaging, age-appropriate games, camps, and clinics. Our adaptable community program equips youth development professionals and volunteers with training, equipment, and lesson plans. We support various settings, class times, and sizes, and provide access to First Tee’s online community for additional resources and peer connections.
- Summer Camp Information – First Tee — Triangle camps focus on golf and life skill development. We teach our Key Commitments through golf instruction. Campers practice putting, chipping, pitching, and full swing through fun, interactive games. We offer six (6) weeks of summer camp annually throughout June – August.
- Track-Out Camp Information – Currently, First Tee — Triangle offers a week of camp in the spring and fall from 9 am-1 pm at River Ridge Golf Club. The dates of the upcoming fall camp are October 7-11, 2024. Both Track 4 and Modified calendar students, ages 6-12, can attend.
