Burke joined the First Tee – Triangle team in July 2023 to become the Golf Course Superintendent for our home facility, TriGolf. He is originally from New Jersey but has been in the Raleigh area for almost eight years now.  He comes to us from North Ridge Country Club in Raleigh, NC.  Burke has worked up and down the east coast at courses including; The Landings Club in Savannah, Ga., Medford Village in Medford, NJ, Makefield Highlands in Yardley, PA., and Legacy Golf Links in Atlanta, Ga. He also served as a caddied at Pine Valley in NJ. Burke played collegiate golf at Allegheny College where he earned a degree in history. Following his Bachelor’s Degree, he attended Rutgers University where he earned a degree in turf management.

Burke is excited to be a part of the First Tee community and looks forward to giving back to the kids. He is married with two kids, and they look forward to growing through the program. In his free time, he enjoys playing golf, traveling, biking, watching sports, and being with family.  He is a huge sports fan, especially anything Philly.
