Tony Laffoley
Tony is a nationally certified coach for First Tee and has been volunteering for the Triangle chapter for 14 years. He is currently the lead coach for our Ace and Eagle programs held at Prestonwood Country Club.
Originally from the island of Jersey in the English Channel, Tony moved to the United States to play collegiate golf and has stayed in North Carolina ever since. Having graduated from Barton College with a degree in Psychology, he now works for the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s Kenan-Flagler Business School. In this capacity Tony serves corporate clients by delivering leadership development programs for Fortune 500 organizations. As one might expect, many of the life skills learned by our participants in the First Tee are the very same skills that his clients are seeking to develop in their leaders. The benefits don’t end there as Tony finds himself regularly deploying First Tee coaching best practices to facilitate the learning when in the classroom at UNC.
Tony is a skilled and passionate mentor, trainer and coach, and is grateful to be able to follow his passion – to help others develop into their best self.
