Freddie’s dedication to First Tee — Triangle over the past 14 years has been nothing short of remarkable. He joined our Board of Directors in 2009 and stands as one of our three largest lifetime donors, a testament to his exceptional commitment to our cause. As the visionary behind our beloved Kid-Am Golf tournament, Freddie has orchestrated an event that has not only raised over $400,000 since its inception in 2013 but has also provided our generous supporters with the unique opportunity to connect with our First Tee participants on the golf course, fostering a deep understanding of our mission. In 2023, the Kid-Am event continues to thrive, selling out two golf courses and hosting 40 young participants annually.

Freddie has also served as a pivotal force on our Executive Committee and in his role as Board Secretary, advocating tirelessly for increased support and visibility within our community. His contributions extend beyond the financial realm, as he has generously hosted cultivation events to engage his network and leveraged his business acumen to secure long-term partnerships with local golf courses. In our latest venture, the capital project for our Center for Youth Development, Freddie’s involvement has been monumental, aiding us in raising an impressive $7 million.
