Dennis & Nancy Horstman

Dennis is a retired business executive with over 35 years of retail and global sourcing experience. First Tee — Triangle has been fortunate to have Dennis as a volunteer coach for over eight years.  In addition to his volunteer coaching, he also served as a mentor at Governors Club to a young man who received a college scholarship in golf.  When Dennis is not out on the golf course, he serves as the Board Vice Chairman of Chapel Hill-Carrboro Meals on Wheels. Nancy is an advocate for many nonprofits in the community.  She is an active volunteer and also gives her time serving as a board member.  Her passion lies in youth serving organizations. For the past nine years she served as an after school tutor for Hispanic children to help increase their language and math skills.  Nancy has been a coach for First Tee —Triangle for six years and has served as a mentor for a young woman in First Tee's program. Dennis and Nancy reside in Chapel Hill by way of Westport, CT.  Their son and daughter-in-law live in Minneapolis, and they have one granddaughter that they love to spoil.
