A. Hobgood III.

A.’s distinguished career began in 1983 and he currently serves as Senior Vice President at RBC Wealth Management. An active alumnus of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, he has served as an officer on numerous boards, including as president of the Co-Founders Club and chairman of the Excellence Fund. He currently lends his expertise as board chair of the UNC Medical Foundation. A. is also the past president of the board of trustees for Parrott Academy, a past member of the board of directors of Wachovia Bank, and a past trustee of St. Mary’s School. A. and his wife, Rhonda, live in Raleigh with their King Charles Cavalier dogs. An avid golfer, A. is a founding board member of Old Chatham Golf Club and a board member of The Rex Hospital Open. He served as a member of First Tee — Triangle’s board until 2016.
