Drive4Success After-School Program
What is the Drive4Success After-School Program?:
Once a week for six weeks, First Tee — Triangle, with the help of your student's school staff, delivers an after-school program designed to build character through the game of golf. Your child will learn basic golf fundamentals such as putting, chipping, target awareness, and distance control, while developing Core Values and Healthy Habits.
All activities will take place at the school and equipment will be provided. No golf experience is necessary! Once the program ends for the day, your child will either be taken to carpool for pick-up or walked to the after-school care program. Times and dates vary by school. Financial aid is available upon request through the registration process in the link above.

Pencils & Putters Scholastic Support Program
In an attempt to expand on how we can continue to support our Drive4Success families, we initiated a Scholastic Support Program for WCPSS elementary-aged students who were registered for the Virtual Academy during the Spring 2021 semester. Beginning the week of January 25th, students were able to join us at NC State's University Club to participate in their online coursework and
our golf and character education programs. We had staff monitoring their virtual learning schedules, and coaches who provided golf instruction when they were not logged in for class. The program ran five days a week, and lasted until May, when the bulk of students returned to in-person learning at their respective schools.
For questions, or if you'd like to have our program in your school, please email Jeanna Gatten
