Trackout Camp

In October of 2020, First Tee — Triangle offered its first Trackout Camp. This pilot program took place at Wil-Mar Golf Club from 9am-1pm, Monday through Friday. In addition to golf and character education, campers played board games and participated in arts & crafts. We are happy to announce that we are offering Trackout Camps again in 2021! Look for updates in our Chapter Chatter emails. If you do not receive those, please let us know by emailing [email protected]. Please also email Jeanna if you have any questions about our Trackout Camps. Thank you! Our Fall 2021 Trackout Camps will be held at TriGolf in Raleigh. The cost is $149 per five-day session. Camp runs from 9am-1pm. Ages 6-12 and all abilities are welcome! Please note that a roster of at least 10 participants is needed in order for us to proceed with a week of camp. Regarding Spring 2022: We may be able to squeeze in a week of camp for each Track, as well as Traditional and Modified calendar students at TriGolf before the construction starts, but those dates are tentative until the groundbreaking date is confirmed. Stay tuned!

Pencils & Putters Summer Camp

Looking for something fun to do over the summer? Join us for summer camp! Participants will be given the opportunity to explore STEM topics and develop literacy skills in a golf setting, while developing their golf game and practicing First Tee's Nine Core Values. Camp is for rising 1st to rising 6th graders (ages 6-12). All ability levels are welcome! Locations TBD for Summer 2022. Registration Fees: Summer Camp is $149 per participant for the five-day session. Camp begins at 9am and ends at 1pm. Scholarships: If you need financial assistance for registration, please click the financial aid option during the registration process! Things to Know: Campers need to bring their own snacks and lunch, a refillable water bottle, sunscreen/hat/sunglasses. Suggested items include bug spray, a cooling towel, and a camping chair. Every personal item needs to be labeled. We have clubs that campers can borrow that we will sanitize daily, but they can bring their own if they have some. Attire should be similar to what is worn for PE class; t-shirt, shorts, socks and sneakers (they do not need to be 'golf clothes'). Weather Considerations - If it is storming (lightning, thunder, heavy rain with no end in sight), we will not have camp, so it is important to have a back-up plan. We do not offer early drop-off or late pick-up. Reminder emails with information specific to your week will be sent closer to those dates, along with new policies and procedures related to COVID-19.
